Opening Celebration 2025/26

Opening celebration “24h Opernhaus”

For one night and one day at the Opera House.
This year, the new season under new artistic direction is celebrated with a unique event. On the first weekend of the season, visitors have the opportunity to discover Zurich’s historic landmark in an unusual way—over the course of 24 hours.
The Opera House opens its doors from Friday, 11 PM, until Saturday, 11 PM, welcoming guests into a very special world and inviting them to experience the house from a completely new perspective.

From performances on the main stage and in the Mirror Hall late at night and early in the morning, to a varied daytime program with workshop tours, ballet workshops, concerts for children... And for those who have always wanted to spend the night at the Opera House—the main stage will remain open around the clock with lounge and seating areas for overnight guests.
